Ewings Sarcoma.

I was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in June 2008 and finished treatment in May 2009. I still have a lot of fatigue and other side effects from all the chemo I got. I also had a major surgery on my leg. I can no longer jump, run , or play. Its really difficult and I sometimes get depressed and overwhelmed. I was hoping to connect to other teens that also have this problem.

i am 20 years old and was diagnosed with lymphoma when i was 19. i had surgery on my chest ending my college wrestling season and hopes of returning to normal activity. i have had several chemo sessions radiation treatment and plan on getting a bone marrow transplant. it has been extremely difficult but hang in there. try to find joy in the things you can do and keep your chin up during the hard times.

Hi im Kelsey. 16 yrs old. I was diagnosed May 2009 with ewings. It was located on the right side of my pelvis. They couldnt remove it because it was too close to my spine. I had about a year of extreme chemo and radiation. But i just had my scans and its inactive. (i hope it never comes back) Ive missed my whole sophmore year and cant return until next year because, just like you, i am very tired and weak. Also because my blood counts arent as high as they should be i cant walkm very long without feeling like im going to black out. I’d love to share more with you…because no one else really knows the feeling. Also i lost my hair through chemo..(i had a really hard time with that) Do you have a facebook? or you can email me anytime at brodygirl14@aol.com Keep in touch:) Best wishes
