im confused

hi, i was diagnosed with ALL (leukimia)one month and 10 days ago. i was in hospital for 3 weeks and 4 days and now im out but go back 3 days a week for treatment. its horrible. im so confused. i have no idea whats happened to me and ive been taken out of college and i cant work or go to busy places. im a 19 year old girl and the new twilight movie is out. is there anyone who is going through a similar thing who wants to talk coz i could really use a friend who knows. all my other friends are as lost as i am. xx

    Hi,

    I’m very sorry to hear about your diagnosis. You seem to be learning, like most of us do, that cancer attacks much more than your body. It’s not the end of the world though. My life’s plans were just thrown for a loop in the matter of a month… an entire 5-year plan basically crinkled up and thrown in the trash can. But, since this is my second time fighting cancer, I’m mentally and emotionally equipped to get through it a little better.

    It doesn’t matter how strong or experienced you are; cancer will force you to put things in a different perspective. It’s never fun, but it’s totally possible, and there’s many people here who can help you do that. We come here to help each other. And you might find yourself to be a better person at the other end of the tunnel.

    Hi. I could totally relate, I was diagnosed 11months ago with Rhabdomyosarcoma, I was 19 now I’m 20 I was also taken out of college and obviously I can’t work. Its not easy and the feeling of confusion I felt that to.     Hi, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia so I know exactly what you are going through. Yeah it’s a tough process to get through but you’re going to be strong enough to do it, all you need is a bit of courage and hope.
