The 2 cancers’ that I beat were rhabdomyosarcoma in my right jaw muscle and osteosarcoma above my left knee. I also received a blood transfusion after chemo with West Nile virus in it. I contracted West Nile Encephalitis and was a vegetable even unable to talk for 4 months. I had to relearn everything. So if anyone wants to talk about a bad hand dealt to them I am a great listener and I’m pretty sure I know how you are feeling.

Hey Guys! I’m new to this site so I thought I’d introduce myself.
My name is Rachel, and at 14 years old I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Since then, I’ve gone into remission and then relapsed, so I had to have a stem cell transplant. I’m now 18 and in remission as far as I know, but I just had a CT scan and I’m really nervous about the results. I have this horrible feeling that my cancer’s come back again. I’m trying to be positive but I don’t think I can go through this for a third time.
I just wish I could feel like a normal kid again.

I THROW MY ZOFRAN IN THE AIR SOMETIMES SAYING AAYYOO… WHERE’D THE BOX GO? This should be made a like on facebook, if you ask me. To confuse people.
If anybody on here is British, add me? If everyone here isn’t British, tell me to go drink tea and play croquet or whatever you think we do. And if you want someone to talk to (like there aren’t enough lovely people already) then add me.
LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF LUVVIN <3 <3
i hate having leukemia, i can’t do anything anymore. i can’t play baseball and i can’t play soccer. i can’t do what i used to do before all this happened, and worst of all i hate seeing my girlfriend suffer with me. she’s always trying to help me think positive ,but it’s very difficult to do when your in so much pain. Damn, i hate the fact that this is not only affecting me. but it is affecting her as well. why does this happen. !!!!!
I got my test results. They found two cysts in my groin. going to the ogyn (yuck) sometime next week. Hopefullly the pain will go away. I just want it to be next week.

Hi. My,name is Lahani. I’m 17 yeats old. I was diagnlsed with AML leukemia and its been nothing but a struggle. Emotionally, physcpically, mentally… I have sought support. Been turned away for being a teen, even had people become angry with me for inboxing their facebooks. I am running out of strength. I need support from other cancer victims. Most of all I need friends and someone to talk to, not just when i’m happy but also when I feel discouraged, frightened, sad or angry about my illness. I need people who understand i’m not just feeling sorry for myself. I’vw been emotionally battered in my search. If anyone at all could be a support to me please reply. Please contact me. Thank you.
Newly Diagnosed and 16

Hello My name is Gabe, and I was 16 when I found out found out I had cancer. It started at the beggining of last christmas break (2009). I came home from my last day of high school finals and took a nap when I woke up I was in unbearable pain. I ended up going to the hospital to find out I had appendicitis, they took me in to remove it and afterwards said that I had what they thaught was a complex ovarian cyst caused by the appendicits and that it should go away though they seemed a little antsy. I was told to follow up though… and when I did I found out that I actually had a stage one Epithelial tumor of the ovary (I had been having bloating and urinary issues as well). I recently had a salpingo-oophorectomy and am feeling better. Hoping I won’t have to go through chemo and that it will not rcurr in the left ovary. I’d loved to talk to anyone going though something similar. I am told it isn’t really considered a teen cancer but that it can occur in teens.

Hey, my name’s Kyle, and I’m new to this. If you haven’t figured that out from the title. I have stage IV Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, I’m 17, and doctors give me a 5% chance of living more than 3 years or so. I deal with that alright- I’m not afraid of dying, and I have a strong faith in God. What I struggle with, is that I have no one to relate to. It’s been two and a half years, and I’m…tired. I’m hoping this website will help with that. No one else I know that’s my age has cancer. So to a lot of people, I’m just the kid with cancer. I’m pretty sure there are a lot of people like me out there though.

Hi, my name is Layla. I’m new to this website… not really sure what to post or if I’m doing this right. But I’m 17 years old & I’m a junior. I’m from Oak Island, North Carolina. I live with my mom and 2 little brothers, ages 6 & 13. I was diagnosed with Hodkin’s lymphoma around two years ago & had chemo, radiation, and a stem cell transplant for treatment. And now I’m in remission. (: I also do color guard for the marching band and love to sing.

Hey! I do not know exactly how this site works and how everyone communicates but I am really excited! I have had Hodgkins Lymphoma and been going through treatment for the past 4 months and everything is going smoothly, but I would love to come in contact with any of you and just finally be able to talk to teens my age who understand. Hope all is well with everyone!
